My name is Timothy Merkel. Since 2011, I've spent my days obsessively exploring Georgia's back country, hiking for weeks on end, and driving my jeep to medieval ruins that most locals haven't even heard of.
I'm here to handle all the chaos so you can safely experience the Georgia that most travelers never get to see. No generic scripts, no crowded tourist traps. Just you, the ancient landscape, and legendary hospitality with a local friend who knows the way.

Tbilisi Day Tours
$180 / day
Experience guided day tours in and around the capital.
The Full Adventure
$240 / day
Includes a private guide, driver, and translator. You will hit the dirt roads together, exploring the unseen sights and rugged character of Georgia.
Mountain & Off-Road
$300 / day
Specialized trips to remote mountain regions (Kazbegi, Svaneti, Khevsureti, Tusheti, Upper Adjara, Gudamakari, Vashlovani) or rugged off-road routes.
These rates apply for groups of up to four adults (the size of the Highlander: can include two children as well). Larger groups are of course welcome, but require hiring a larger vehicle; contact me for a quote applicable to your specific needs. On trips with overnight stays outside of Tbilisi, an additional charge will cover my overnight expenses (either at the same accommodation or with a per diem for my own accommodation). Rates exclude third-party activity fees, meals, entry tickets, and planning fees. If you travel in the low season (November to April), I may be able to offer a discount (contact me for a specific quote).
