Trip planning: Helping you find your way around Georgia
Maybe you don’t feel like going with a guide – you have a car of your own, you’re confident with your language skills, or you just enjoy the feeling of figuring it out by yourself. You can still benefit from my extensive knowledge of Georgia’s back country and network of regional contacts by working with me as a trip planner; I’ll help you create a personalized, custom itinerary for your adventure in Georgia.
I offer three different levels of support for your trip in Georgia:
- For the basic level ($100 flat fee), I’ll make a video call (up to an hour) with you to discuss your plans and possibilities. The call can also be an email if you prefer to work in writing. This is generally best for people who already have a fairly good idea of what they want to do in Georgia, but still want expert local tips, advice, and recommendations.
- For the standard level ($200 flat fee), I’ll help you design your trip and itinerary from the ground up. We’ll make an initial video call and follow up with as many emails as are necessary to help you work out your ideal independent travel in Georgia, suggesting destinations, places to stay, places to eat, activities to take part in, or whatever else might be necessary for your trip. I’ll also include a downloadable map of the routes and places we agree on.
- The deluxe level is for people who want a friendly helping hand throughout their entire trip. In addition to everything included in the standard level, I’ll make detailed prearrangements for you, calling ahead to the places you’ll be going and making bookings for you, and remaining on call for the duration of your trip for any questions and translation needs. Cost depends on length of trip – get in touch by email, text, or social media with your specific needs and we’ll discuss.
