My name is Timothy and your unique journey in Georgia starts here.
From the rugged plateaus of Meskheti to the humid forests of Samegrelo, from the desolate steppes of Kakheti to the snowcapped peaks of Racha – through millennia of history and around tables piled high with feasts, Georgia’s true character lives in its diversity. I’ve spent years crisscrossing Georgia, drinking deeply of its boundless history, culture, and landscapes – now, I’m here to share my love, fascination, and expertise with you.
All my trips are fully customized for each group; I don’t have any preset itineraries or routes. Whether it’s trekking in remote valleys, exploring forgotten ancient ruins, experiencing the legendary Georgian hospitality with local families, or discovering other little-known secrets, my aim is to take travelers off the beaten track and make them feel like adventurers and guests rather than tourists.
I firmly believe that there is much more to Georgia than the mainstream touristic destinations you see all over social media and travel brochures; while I can and do facilitate trips to the mainstream sights, my specialty is in providing unique, custom experiences tailored to the interests and inspirations of each guest. Every trip I lead starts with a conversation. Whether you’re a first-time visitor or frequent returnee, or even a long-term resident looking for a fresh perspective, I work with you to create an itinerary which fits your particular interests. Once you’re here, I’ll be your guide, driver, translator, and whatever else you need for your adventures in Georgia. All you need to bring is your visions and your sense of wonder – I’ll take care of the details.
I also offer a professional trip planning service for independent travelers who want to benefit from my extensive knowledge of Georgia’s back country and network of contacts.
