My Tours in Georgia: How it Works
Each of my tours is a uniquely planned experience, although you can check out some sample itineraries for an idea of what an adventure might look like. Rather than take everyone to the same place, I prefer to show each guest their own personal cross-section of the fascinating diversity Georgia has to offer. With my expertise and detailed, comprehensive knowledge of Georgia’s secrets, your trip to Georgia is guaranteed to be an authentic, unique, and unforgettable experience.
It all starts with a discussion about your interests (this might be by email or by voice call, depending on your preference). Based on what I learn about you, or working with specific suggestions or requests of yours, we will plan out a trip which will be as exciting and rewarding for you as possible. You can be involved as much or as little as you like – I’m happy to plan everything myself based on your general outlines, or create a detailed itinerary together with you.
Pricing
Below are my daily rates as of June 2026. Amounts are quoted in dollars but can be paid with the equivalent in Georgian laris or euros.
- $240 – base rate per day
- $300 – rate per day for mountain regions (Kazbegi, Svaneti, Khevsureti, Tusheti, Upper Adjara, Gudamakari, Vashlovani) or offroad trips.
- $180 – rate per day for Tbilisi day tours
These rates apply for groups of up to four adults (size of the Highlander – can include two children as well). Larger groups are of course welcome, but require hiring a larger vehicle; contact me for a quote applicable to your specific needs. On trips with overnight stays outside of Tbilisi, I ask guests to cover my overnight expenses (either at the same accommodation or with a per diem for my own accommodation). Rates exclude third-party activity fees, meals, entry tickets, and planning fees. If you are traveling in low season (November-April), I may be able to offer a discount – contact me for a specific quote.
Trip Planning
If you prefer to travel on your own, have your own means of transportation, or otherwise don’t need a driver, guide, or translator, I also offer a trip planning service, helping you create personalized, custom itineraries for an adventure in Georgia. Over the period of our consultation, I’ll call upon my extensive knowledge of Georgia’s back country and network of regional contacts to help you identify the destinations and activities most interesting for you. Trip planning is available both in writing (email/WhatsApp/Telegram) or by video call. Trip planning rates start at $100 for a basic consultation and $200 for a standard consultation; I also offer a deluxe tier of travel assistance, making detailed arrangements for your entire trip, booking all your activities for you in advance, and being on the line as a translator for the duration of your travel. Contact me to discuss your needs and we can go over the details.
